Teo Martín Motorsport will come to Barcelona with its leading pair Miguel Ramos-Álvaro Parente in the lead of the standings and very close to the GT Open title. As it happened already in Spa, the Spanish squad will enter a second McLaren 650S, with the support of the British maker, to maximize its chances.
The car will be entrusted to a duo of young guns. Ulsterman Andrew Watson (21), who drove the car at Spa with Rob Bell, will be sharing duties with local hero Fernando Monje.
The 23-year-old from Barcelona, a former ETCC champion currently involved in the TCR series, has already some experience in the GT Open, having made of couple of outings with a Porsche and an Audi last year. “I am obviously delighted of this opportunity to drive a great car and for a top team”, he commented.
