Racers Edge Motorsports had its first track test of the team’s new SIN R1 GT4 in preparation for their participation in the Pirelli World Challenge Series. The team visited Roebling Road Raceway near Savannah, Georgia and the weather was perfect for a day of initial running and evaluation. To say the first test was successful would be an understatement! The new car performed extremely well right out of the trailer and impressed everyone at the test with how well sorted and race ready the car already is.
Team owner Jon Mirachi couldn’t be more pleased. “The SIN Cars factory team in Europe raced the car all last season in the Euro GT4 Series and they’ve done a great job getting the car developed and perfected. We’ve had initial tests with other new race cars in the past and this was by far the most well developed and race ready new car we’ve ever tested. We have some work to do to be ready for racing in North America, but honestly the car is very good now. Our test driver, James Vance, was full of praise for the car and its feel and how much fun it is to drive. We’re really looking forward to a great season!”
The team will continue the track testing over the next few weeks.
