Lamborghini Squadra Corse has captured a place on the front row of the GT Daytona (GTD) field for its debut with the Huracán GT3 in the famed 24 Hours at Daytona..Konrad Motorsports

Konrad Motorsport driver Marc Basseng turned the second-quickest time in the No. 28 Lamborghini during the 15-minute qualifying session at 2 minutes, 6.357 seconds to secure the front row starting position.

“We’re quite happy with the result: P2, first row, is a good position for the 24 hours,” Basseng said. “The mechanics did an awesome job to prepare the car. The conditions are over the limit, so much aquaplaning, but I found a good lap and did a quite good lap time.
