B-QUIK TO DOUBLE UP AUDI ENTRY IN 2016 THAILAND SUPER SERIES

B-Quik Racing is pleased to announce it will enter two Audi R8 LMS Cup racecars in Thailand Super Series (TSS) 2016 with Daniel Bilski stepping up to drive a newly arrived second example running alongside the regular #26 entry of Henk J. Kiks.b-q

Last year represented Daniel’s first year in Thai motorsport, driving the team’s Porsche 997 GT3 Cup in TSS’s headlining racing category, Super Car Class 2-GTM. The Australian took a trip to the podium during the season opener in Buriram but it was a year that saw a few ups and downs as he bedded into Thai racing.

Alongside his debut season in Thai racing Daniel also joined B-Quik for its Sepang 12 Hours entry in the #26 Audi R8 LMS Cup, held last December, which resulted in an excellent podium finish, which he also entered Audi’s pan-Asian ‘R8 Cup’ one make race series in 2015 behind the wheel of a similar ‘Cup’ specification Audi.

The car that he raced across Asia last year in the ‘R8 Cup’ has now been shipped to Thailand and Daniel will drive the machine in Super Car Class 2-GTM this season as he looks to build on his first year in TSS, in particular supporting team leader Henk as well as B-Quik Racing’s strong aspirations in the Teams’ championship. With a lot of cockpit time of the car behind him over the past couple of seasons Daniel should be all ready to go.

Daniel Bilski:

“I’m delighted to confirm I’ll be returning to the TSS this season with B-Quik Racing, driving the Audi R8 LMS Cup that I raced with plenty of success across Asia last year. I’m extremely grateful to Henk and the whole B-Quik Racing Team for their ongoing support and can’t wait for the season to start.

“B-Quik Racing is a results-driven organisation which continues to push itself and its people to higher levels. Bringing two Audi R8 LMS Cup cars to the TSS shows B-Quik’s major commitment to motorsport in Thailand and TSS, and I can’t wait to see both Audis on the grid together for the first race in Buriram.

“Last year was a tough introduction to the TSS for me, and it’s no secret we didn’t get the results we wanted. Bringing the Audis certainly shows we are serious about being competitive this year and seeing the equipment, drivers and preparations our rivals are bringing this season it’s going to be an even tougher year than last year but we’re up for the challenge and looking forward to a strong season ahead. I’ll be pushing for results to help Henk and the team reach our championship goals.”
