During the racing season of the 2016 Blancpain GT Series, Total 24 Hours of Spa and GT4 European Series the drivers and teams were fined a total sum of 32,473 euro. In accordance with the Sporting Regulations that sum was placed in the SRO Motorsports Fund, in order to serve as a prize fund or to be presented to a charity. After consulting with all parties involved it was decided that the money would be donated to these organisations.

C.A.D.R.E. , the Belgian Centre d’Aide au Développement et Recherche d’Emancipation, was created in 2004 by parents, friends and professsionals. Its goal was to create an educational farm for 25 adults with disabilities, to increase their activities, social life and personal development.
