SLOVAKIA’S RACING TREVOR JOINS THE GT OPEN AT THE HUNGARORING

The Budapest round of the International GT Open will see a new entry from Slovakia. Racing Trevor, based in Rovinka, will enter in Pro-Am its BMW M6 GT3 with which he competes in the lively Central European racing scene.

The car will be entrusted to a father-and-son pair, composed of Jirí and Christian Malchárek.  Jirí, the father (50) has been active in the international GT scene in the 90s, racing also in FIA-GT, and was an occasional Minardi F.1 tester. He has been also a prominent politician in his country, serving as Minister of Economy in 2005-06.

His son Christian (26) has started with karts, before racing in F.Renault 2.0 and in the NASCAR EuroSeries.
