Drivex will contest round 5 of the International GT Open at Silverstone (England). Drivex will field two Mercedes AMG GT3 cars in Pro-Am class for Marcelo Hahn / Allam Khodair and Ricardo Bueno / Cacá Bueno, the same pairings from Hungaroring.
The season is going according to plan for Hahn and Khodair as Marcelo sits third on 45 points in Pro-Am class, a mere six points behind the leaders. Hahn clinched his first win of the season at Estoril, added a second one at Paul Ricard – where he teamed up with Alan Hellmeister as Khodair skipped the round due to other racing commitments- and excelled at the Hungaroring by claiming a scorching overall win with Allam. Khodair lies fourth in Pro-Am class despite he didn’t race in Le Castellet.
Baptista and Bueno made a promising GT Open debut in Budapest. In spite of Hungaroring was a completely new circuit, the duo of Drivex made steady, solid progress throughout the weekend to finish 8th and 10th in class. Their goal is to continue their learning process in the series.
Friday is devoted to free practice session with Saturday’s Q1 taking place at 10.25. Race 1, consisting of 70 minutes, is scheduled at 15.15. Finally, Sunday will see Q2 at 09.40 with the second 60-minute race starting at 13.45. All time are local.
Both races will be streamed live on YouTube.
