REBELLION RACING ON THE WAY TO THE 6 HOURS OF FUJI

It is a new step in this Super Season, which offers many surprises at each race. After the European rounds at Spa-Francorchamps, Le Mans and Silverstone, Team REBELLION Racing will compete in the 6 Hours of Fuji this weekend.

Both REBELLION R-13 cars will be complete again. Bruno Senna, victim of an outing of more than 200km / h in Silverstone, has recovered perfectly from his foot cracks and will be back at the wheel of the car N. 1 car alongside Neel Jani and André Lotterer. N. 3 prototype will still be composed of Mathias Beche, Gustavo Menezes and Thomas Laurent.

Bart Hayden, Team manager
“At the last round of the WEC, we ended up with a 1-2 finish, the first overall victory in the WEC for Rebellion Racing.  We hope to carry that momentum with us into the race in Fuji, but we know it will be tough because it’s Toyota’s homeland.  The other Privateer teams will be competitive too, so we are expecting to have to work harder than ever, but we are looking forward to the challenge and will be aiming for the Podium on Sunday.”

Bruno Senna, #1 driver
“I am super excited to go to Fuji for the upcoming race! Definitely more than ready to get back into the car and hit the ground running. The recovery since Silverstone has been great and I feel ready to race!“

André Lotterer, #1 driver
“Fuji is my home race even though I haven’t raced in Japan this year. This is my favorite country and I look forward to seeing all our fans, who are all so passionate about our sport. I hope we can achieve a good result, and ideally win because I never won in Fuji.”

Mathias Beche, #3 driver
“Japan is always a great destination, with its culture, passion for motorsport and fans. The team has done a lot of work to analyze the Silverstone race and I hope we will be able to use the technical evolutions for this round on the track. I am happy that Bruno is back in the team and I hope we can get closer to the performance of Toyota cars in Japan.”

Thomas Laurent, #3 driver
“After this long break, I can’t wait to get back to the beast and drive on the beautiful Fuji circuit that I love. I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and the whole team as always! I hope that the weather will be good and that we will have a great race!”
