Ten drivers from four Audi Sport customer teams will compete across four categories at this weekend’s Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Spring Race at China’s 4.319km Zhuhai International Circuit. The event will see the new 2019 evolution Audi R8 LMS GT3 make its debut in China in the hands of TSRT driver Liu Peng.

“The Pan Delta Super Racing Festival has become a popular high-profile motorsport showcase for South China’s Greater Bay Area. We are excited to have such a superb line-up of Audi customer teams and talented drivers for this important event,” said Martin Kuehl, Director of Audi Sport customer racing Asia. “The China debut of the new evolution Audi R8 LMS GT3 will make the weekend even more special.”

After Audi customer teams claimed championship titles in all Circuit Hero One series categories entered last season, the 2019 all-China Pan Delta line-up is equally strong.

Zun Motorsport Crew enters 2013 Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup champion Adderly Fong of the Hong Kong SAR in the A class for GT3 machinery. Circuit Hero GT3 vice champion in 2018, Fong is a former F1 test driver and begins the new season as a strong title contender. Joining Fong on the three-car Circuit Hero entry by Zun Motorsport Crew are Guan Weiwen in the GTC C class, and Lin Yiming in the Supercar Challenge category.

David Chen, the 2017 Audi Sport R8 LMS Amateur Cup champion, heads the TSRT squad and will defend his 2018 Circuit Hero GTC title. Liu, meanwhile, is entered in the Supercar Challenge class with the new evolution Audi Sport R8 LMS GT3, while Lin Xinying will campaign an Audi RS 3 LMS in the Circuit Hero One series.

Wu Qihua of Grid Motorsport joins Lin and Lu in the race for the Supercar Challenge title.

Circuit Hero One runner-up last season and one of the region’s most experienced touring car drivers, Felipe Souza of the Macau SAR, is joined at Champ x TA Motorsport by Xian Weihao in a pair of Audi RS 3 LMS TCR cars. Deng Zijun brings the number of Audi entries in the series to four.

The 20-minute qualifying session for Circuit Hero begins at 10:30 on Saturday March 23 at the Zhuhai International Circuit, with the 10-lap race one starting at 14:20, and qualifying for Circuit Hero One following at 15:00. The single, 15-lap Circuit Hero One race gets underway at 11:10 on Sunday, with Circuit Hero race two, also run over 15 laps, following at 14:00 (all times UTC +8).
