Edoardo Liberati returns to Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe this coming weekend. The Rome-based racer, who was the 2015 Asian Pro-Am champion and one of the series’ front-runners, will take part in the Misano opener.
27-year-old Liberati will drive a VS Racing’s Huracán, pairing in Pro category with young Finn Olli Parhankangas, class ’96, who arrives from TCR Europe and makes his debut in the Sant’Agata Bolognese’s one-make championship.
Only one week after finishing sixth over 133 cars in the fourth round of Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie, piloting a KCMG’s Porsche alongside his team-mates Josh Burdon and Dennis Olsen, Liberati is now set for another completely different commitment.
The first of two races, both of 50 minutes, will be held on Saturday night at 20.50. Race 2 will start on Sunday at 13.20. Free practice will be held tomorrow. The two 20-minute official qualifying sessions are scheduled on Saturday too, from 14.20 and 14.50. Both races will be live streamed on YouTube and Lamborghini Squadra Corse official Facebook page.
