Two weeks after claiming their first Am victory of the season at the Red Bull Ring, Alexander Moiseev and Alexey Nesov are set for the fourth of six International GT Open rounds this weekend in Monza, the only one to be held in Italy.
At the Antonelli Motorsport’s home track, the duo target the class lead as just four points currently separate them from frontrunners Jens Liebhauser, Florian Scholze. The Russians will share driving duties in the Kaspersky backed Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
After claiming five podium finishes, the last four consecutively, Moiseev and 17-year-old Nesov are strongly determined to show well again.
In Monza 11 months ago, team Antonelli Motorsport celebrated the Italian GT Sprint title at the end of an exciting year.
Focusing on this coming weekend, free practices will start tomorrow. The first 30-minute qualifying will get underway on Saturday at 10:45, with Race 1 (70 mts) at 15:30. Q2 will commence on Sunday at 10:05 followed by Race 2 (61 mts) at 15:05.
