PETER KOX RETURNS TO ADAC GT MASTERS

The second ADAC GT Masters race weekend at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium marks a comeback in the Super Sports Car League for Peter Kox, who was ADAC GT Masters Champion in 2010 along with Albert von Thurn Taxis. The winner of nine ADAC GT Masters races will share the drive in the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 prepared by rhino’s Leipert Motorsport with ADAC GT Masters veteran Frank Schmickler.

In a novel turn of events, Kox’s daughter Stéphane is also competing at Spa Francorchamps; the 19-year-old is just starting out in Formel ADAC this year. So, this will be the first time that a father-daughter will be in the line-up at an ADAC GT Masters weekend, albeit, in different series. “But it will be a while before we are both contesting the ADAC GT Masters together,” said Kox with a chuckle.
