CARL BREEZE JOINS UNITED AUTOSPORTS FOR 2014 GINETTA GT4 SUPERCUP

United Autosports have confirmed a second entry into the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup with Carl Breeze.Breeze_13

Carl is a late entry to the championship in his Ginetta G55 GT4 and is no stranger to the series having won the Ginetta Supercup in 2012. He is also the most successful Ginetta Supercup driver, with 33 wins under his belt.

Carl made the switch to the Ginetta series in 2009 after competing in the British Touring Car Championship and has finished in the top three of the championship for the past five years. He joins team-mate Luke Davenport who will be taking part in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup for the first time.

The added experience Carl will bring to the team marks them out as serious championship contenders in 2014. The first round will be at Brands Hatch on 29th-30thMarch.

Carl Breeze, Driver, United Autosports:
“My aim for this year is to take United Autosports to championship success. They are incredibly professional and I’m really excited to be driving for them. They showed a really strong desire to have me on board this year and so far I have been very impressed with what they have to offer as a team. I’m working extremely hard to become a paid professional driver and one of the added incentives of being with United Autosports is that they have a potential career path with their teams in the BTCC and British GT. I just have to focus on trying to do the business for them this year on and off track now and I look forward to working with my new team-mate, Luke Davenport to try and deliver both drivers and team championships”.

Richard Dean, Team Owner and Managing Director, United Autosports:
“We are really excited to have Carl on board for our maiden Ginetta GT4 Supercup campaign, showing the desire and commitment we have to succeed in this championship. He has shown in previous years that he is not afraid to get stuck in and battle for the top positions during a race and throughout the championship, which is exactly what we need from a driver. As he is a late entry the car is still being built so it is likely that its first running will be at the first round at Brands Hatch. Carl will be a great team-mate for Luke, who is showing immense promise. I expect them to work well together in what will be a very strong series.”
